Code of Ethics

 

The Distance Learning Council members agree to:

  1. Promote educational excellence through quality curricula and rigorous standards of student integrity.

  2. Never discriminate against a student on the basis of race, colour, caste, sex, ethnicity, national origin, age, religious beliefs, disability or marital status.

  3. Cooperate with other Distance Learning Council members in circumstances in which such cooperation may benefit a student.

  4. Establish and adhere to a clearly defined Educational standards.

  5. Never award a grade or degree on false pretences or on the basis of financial compensation.

  6. Establish and adhere to the standards defined by the Government Bodies. In absence of such adherence clear information should be passed on to the students.

  7. Report to The Distance Learning Council any violations of this Code of Ethics of any member.

 

 

The violation of any of these standards shall be considered sufficient grounds for termination of The Distance Learning Council membership.


The Distance Learning Council offers accreditation to those institutions which meet, exceed and maintain specific criteria, as defined in “Accreditation Standards”.
