The Mission Statement
The Distance Learning Council of India is a Non Profit Making accreditation association created to ensure the consistent implementation of high standards of educational excellence in the growing field of online learning and Distance Education. The Council works on the evaluation Model for independent Higher studies keeping in mind the existing Global standards and the current needs of the Distance Learning.
The purpose of the council is to evaluate the curriculum, standards, policies and practices of online and Distance Learning educational institutions and offer membership to those institutions based on their adherence and continued application of clearly established standards.
The Distance Learning Council first evaluates the documents and the process standards submitted by Institute and evaluate the Membership information of the Institute. The membership information of each member is to be submitted every year along with the Annual membership fees
